Sherwood is interviewing candidates for a full-time association administrator to work with not more than two of our client associations, including an established and well-respected association in the field of opinion and survey research. In this key position, you will report to the Executive Director as part of a multidisciplinary team. The goals for this busy position are to provide administrative support for the executive director and manage/implement member services, committee communications, day-to-day administration and project management with the goal of increasing membership, promoting brand awareness and recognition and use of key programs. Experience supporting public relations, education and meeting programs helpful.

Duties:Candidates must be comfortable in a fast-paced, energetic and participatory environment, where your involvement and suggestions in all phases of client management are encouraged.
Responsibilities include:
• Maintain first-rate customer service as the front-line contact to the association client organizations and association members. Enhance support and service by responding to customer needs in a timely and efficient manner.
• Manage client board and volunteer resources.
• Act as primary associate for membership recruitment and retention efforts. Serve as staff liaison to membership committee
• Manage customer service delivery to client by Association staff.
• Manage and update client membership database (iMIS)
• Collaborate with various departments, including Marketing & Communications, Finance and IS to provide the best client service possible.
• Assist with the preparation and implementation of conferences, board meetings and seminars
• Work closely with Annual Meeting Committee to support the development of the educational program
• Write and produce content for meeting programs and other electronic communications.
• Support programs designed to grow association markets
Qualifications:• Excellent organizational skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Customer service focus
• Minimum 3 years’ experience with an association or in positions combining customer service, project administration and administrative support.
• Bachelor's degree required
• Experience using Microsoft Office and a variety of software programs
• Experience managing web site content and public social networking platforms
• Some travel required
