Description:The role of the Software Support & Training Specialist is to provide software support to association staff as needed. This job requires training staff, maintaining and creating custom reports, and pulling data from the membership system. It is essential that this person have excellent customer relationship skills and can work with users to respond to and anticipate their needs.

Duties:The duties of this position include:
• Provide support to staff in the proper use of our membership systems
• Develop and conduct user training for iMIS, Office and other software as necessary
• Develop guidelines and documentation to ensure consistency in the use of the database
• Install and maintain iMIS desktop client on staff workstations
• Maintain iMIS users and permissions
• Maintain and create custom reports for iMIS
• Perform data pulls via IQA, SQL, Crystal or other report writing tool for staff as requested
• Assist users with data-related Informz support
Qualifications:The position requires the following technical skills:
• Strong understanding of iMIS (or equivalent Association Management System), both from the user interface and from the back-end database perspective
• Ability to prepare and conduct training for iMIS and MS Office products
• Solid general database understanding
• Excellent Crystal Reports 9 knowledge
• iMIS 15.x IQA knowledge or other reporting tool
• Ability to create and run simple SQL select queries
• Basic proficiency in HTML

Education and Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree
• 2-4 years using and/or supporting iMIS, or equivalent Association Management System
• 1-3 years using and/or supporting Crystal Reports or other reporting tool; knowledge of Microsoft Report Builder a plus
